How to use your heated ladder towel rail?

Did you know that the best way to maximise the benefit of your heated towel rail is to "Double Fold" your towels, rather than spreading them out across the full width of the rails. By folding your towel twice before they are hung, the heat will radiant through the towel, insulating the heat. Resulting in your towels drying quicker.

Our towel rails are a constant wattage appliance, designed to be used as a towel warmer and drier. This works by the dry element in the rails heating up to approx. 30 degrees without a towel. Now for the science bit....when you place the towel over the rail, it insulates that heat, therefore increasing it to as much as 50-60 degrees. So the thicker the material, i.e double folded, the quicker and hotter your rails will get!
